2010 :: Year of the Tiger

Kung hei fat choi...my belated greeting for 2010!

This is our second take in visiting Auckland's Chinese Lantern Festival marking the incoming year. It's good to see beautifully-crafted lanterns showcasing chinese ingenuity. The event lasts for two days -- the weekends. Aside from the captivating lanterns, one will be drowning with asian foods. We went on the last day. But didn't get to stay on and see the fireworks.

The park was packed with people. So we decided to have photos, have our mini-dinner, and walk back to our car to head home.

P got the chance to capture these lanterns...well on a side kuwento..he's into photography now -- a hobby he has started into since October last year.

And of course, us...meaning me and Tristan. =)
